Lios
Herbal Medicine
Medicine can have chemicals and ingredients that no one even has heard of before. Even though modern medicine has evolved and still includes a lot of the same plants that were used as ancient medicine. Lios Herbal Medicine is “ancient medicine made modern”, meaning Lios keeps the ingredient list clean and simple with plant-based products. From willow bark aspirin to poppy plant morphine, this line will bring medicine back to its roots.

The Product
I created a line of different medicines that go "back to their roots." I came up with the name Lios because I used the "back to their roots" phrase to show how the medicine is based off ancient ways of medicine, but also Lios is soil backwards. So the conceptual connection is roots and soil going back into history. Scroll down to see the product matrix which shows all the products in the line.

I thought about body parts that have double meanings. For example backbone can mean the actual bone in your body but also the main structure of something. I came up with "the heart of modern medicine", "the backbone of modern medicine", and "the muscle of modern medicine". I related it to parts of the body because it is a medicine line.

Website
I used the primary brand colors to create a website that is simple and sophisticated to have the user feel Lios Herbal Medicine is a trust worthy source. I featured one product from the line, the mallow common cold medicine, and wrote "make the common cold less common".
